| Requirements and Responsibilities For Marketing Communications Supervisor |
| Oversees marketing communication strategies to promote a company's brand, products, or services to its target audience. Supervises and delegates workflow to meet project deadlines. Ensures consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all advertising, social media, and promotional communications. Supports the planning and execution of trade shows, special events, and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Researches and identifies strategic messaging for specific advertising or promotional channels to effectively reach targeted customer segments. Liaises with the media and internal stakeholders to communicate strategic messaging in alignment with the organization's business objectives and policies. Tracks projects to measure effectiveness and prepares status reports for stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. |
