| Requirements and Responsibilities For Marketing Communications Senior Manager |
| Manages an organization's marketing communication strategies to promote a company's brand, products, or services to its target audience. Designs consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all advertising, social media, and promotional communications. Develops strategic messaging for specific advertising or promotional channels to effectively reach targeted customer segments. Implements efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. Researches and coordinates trade shows, special events, and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
