| Requirements and Responsibilities For Marketing Communications Manager |
| Manages an organization's marketing communication strategies to promote a company's brand, products, or services to its target audience. Designs consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all advertising, social media, and promotional communications. Develops strategic messaging for specific advertising or promotional channels to effectively reach targeted customer segments. Implements efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. Researches and coordinates trade shows, special events, and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
