Requirements and Responsibilities For Material Coordinator I
Coordinates the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between the source and final destination. Monitors material requirements and tracks movement with purchasing, production, and warehouses. Ensures material inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules or inventory requirements. Inputs data into a system or database to produce reporting and demand estimates. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
