| Requirements and Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Supervisor |
| Supervises a business intelligence team centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. Leads and guides projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions. Lends significant subject-matter expertise to enhance reports with insightful takeaways and perspectives. Collaborates with project stakeholders to better understand valuable objectives and metrics. Aids in the high-level design and direction of relevant reports and dashboards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. |
